Happy Halloween from the OPC

I volunteer at the Older Persons Commission(OPC) in Rochester at the adult day service and here are some pictures of our Halloween party. I had fun and I think they did too, even if they don't remember it tomorrow it sure was a good time!!! We had 24 people today, that is a lot.....wish i could have fit everyone in the picture because they were hilarious! Happy Halloween!!!!

Smokes wanted to be the devil for Halloween...isnt he scarrrrrrrry!! I think he looks more like a man wearing a t shirt myself. This costume is supposed to fit a small dog and as you can see Smokes is bustin out at the seams...ugh my cat is bigger than a dog ahhh! Happy Halloween!!!!!

Wordless Wednesday

This weekend I went home to visit the grandparents. I stayed with grandma Baker at her house on Friday night and then on Saturday we were lucky enough to babysit Piper for a couple of hours. Grandma and I both had a lot of fun, and I think Piper had fun too.

This was Piper's favorite thing to do. Grandma took Piper for a ride on her "new" walker. I think they both had fun doing this, and it was absolutely adorable to watch!!!

Piper sure is growing up, we walked all over and collected leaves for Grandma Baker. I had a great time with her!!! I was also able to go see Grandma and Grandpa Dejonge while I was home. They seem to be doing quite well too. Saturday night I stayed with my old roomate in Grandville, which was fun too. Mom and Dad I took a peek in our house and yes it is still standing, and yes Mom, your furry friends are still sitting by the door waiting for you to come home!!!!

This weekend I went up north to visit lance and had tons of fun as usual. It is fall up there...cold and colorful (not too sure how i feel about that). Anyway here are a few pics of the weekend.....

We went to the Indian River High School football game to see his sister on the homecoming court...good job Alexa!!! We carved a pumpkin and even made the seeds. As you can see lance is very artistic!!

This was a first, I have no idea how Smokes got up this high. I was shocked when I heard him crying from way up there! I'm starting to think that Smokes is "special"!!!

Oh and on his way down, he thought the clock would be a good step....wrong!

my roomate and I thought it would be fun to feed the geese outside our apartment, so we stated throwing stale bread and we attracted all kinds of them. We even got some of them to cross the very busy street...oops at least the cars stopped for them!!! ha
